Refund Policy
No Refunds or Returns
All sales are final. Hawk Equipment does not offer refunds or accept returns under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Failure to conduct proper due diligence
- Incorrect equipment selection
- Equipment incompatibility with the buyer’s project or application
- Delays caused by shipping carriers, freight companies, or third parties
By completing a purchase, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to this No Refund Policy.
Buyer Responsibility & Due Diligence
Before placing an order, the buyer is responsible for:
- Confirming equipment specifications, condition, and suitability
- Ensuring compatibility with their intended use
- Requesting inspections, documentation, or additional details if required

Special Order Policy
All special orders are considered final sale.
- Once a special order is placed and confirmed, it cannot be canceled or refunded
- If a cancellation is requested, Hawk Equipment reserves the right to retain 35% of the total order value to cover administrative, handling, and supplier costs
Warranty Policy
Warranty Approval
All warranty claims must receive prior approval from the manufacturer. Claims submitted without approval may be denied.
Labour Exclusion
The warranty covers parts only. Labour, installation, technician services, and repair costs are not covered.
Freight Damage & Missing Parts
Any freight damage or missing components must be reported within 24 hours of delivery via email and must include:
- A written description of the issue
- Clear photos of the damage
- Copy of the original invoice
- Serial number plate
Minor cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, surface discoloration, or light surface rust caused during transit are considered normal and do not affect functionality. These are not covered under warranty.
Freight Costs
Shipping costs are not covered under warranty. Replacement parts may be shipped by sea freight from the manufacturer, with an estimated delivery time of 45–60 days.
Warranty Transfer
Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.
Installation & Maintenance
Warranty coverage is void if equipment is not installed, operated, or maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
Warranty Coverage Periods
Automotive Equipment:
1-year warranty on parts (excluding consumables such as cables, hoses, locks, pulleys, bushings, pads, slide blocks, rubber, nylon, neoprene, and carriages)
Skid Steer Attachments:
3-month warranty on parts
Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Skid Steers, Tractors & Forklifts:
1-year warranty on parts (excluding consumables such as tracks, tires, and batteries)
Pallet Jacks:
6-month warranty on parts (excluding wheels and batteries)
What Is Not Covered
Warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by negligence or misuse
- Unauthorized modifications
- Failure to follow operating instructions
- Normal wear-and-tear items (blades, teeth, cables, hoses, wheels, cutting edges, PTO shafts, etc.)
- Use in unsuitable or extreme environments
- Excavator and skid steer tracks or wheel loader tires
- Damage caused by accidents or depreciation
- Damage from natural disasters (fire, flood, etc.)
- Stolen equipment or total loss units
- Equipment not sold by Hawk Equipment
Terms & Conditions of Sale
Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until an order is formally accepted. Prices do not include applicable taxes (GST, HST, PST, or other taxes), which are the responsibility of the buyer unless a valid exemption certificate is provided.
Order Acceptance
Hawk Equipment reserves the right to accept or reject any order. These terms take precedence over any buyer-provided terms unless agreed to in writing.
Order Changes
Order modifications may impact pricing and delivery timelines and must be approved in writing.
Shipping & Risk of Loss
Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once the shipment is handed to the carrier. Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.
Claims
Shipment errors or discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Cancellations
Order cancellations require written approval and may incur fees. Custom, special-order, in-production, or ready-to-ship items cannot be canceled.
Specifications
Product specifications, dimensions, and weights are approximate and may change. Equivalent materials may be substituted if necessary.
Liability Limitation
Hawk Equipment is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business interruption.
Payment Default
Failure to meet payment terms may result in delayed shipments, order cancellation, or required advance payment.
Force Majeure
Hawk Equipment is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, labor disputes, or legal requirements.

Hawk Equipment ships across Canada and the United States.
Processing Time
In-stock items are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

Delivery times may vary due to carrier schedules, weather, holidays, and destination.
Shipping Methods
- Small parts are shipped directly to the customer
- Large or heavy items are shipped via freight to the nearest terminal
- Door-to-door delivery may be arranged if the customer has unloading equipment (forklift, skid steer, loading dock, or adequate manpower). Additional fees may apply

Insurance, Inspection & Damage Claims
All shipments are insured during transit.
Please inspect your order before accepting delivery. If damage is found:
- Take photos immediately
- Retain all packaging
- Report the issue before signing or removing the shipment
Claims not reported at delivery may not be accepted.
